  • Developing thoughtful media pitches, story ideas and angles that resonate with business, financial, and consumer media in English and French
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and other key external stakeholders
  • Supporting corporate affairs program activations, including executive thought leadership, speaking opportunities, sponsored content, and sponsorships
  • Managing day-to-day client interactions with professionalism, responsiveness and sound judgment

  • Managing the day-to-day running of key accounts, including timelines, project trackers, budgets and deliverables
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members by sharing your skills, experience and perspective
  • Supporting new business efforts through research, competitive analysis, stakeholder assessment and proposal development

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strong communications fundamentals with a thoughtful, team-oriented approach. Ideally, you bring:

  • 3-4 years of experience in client service and/or corporate communications, with exposure to multiple sectors such as corporate, financial, healthcare, and food
  • A genuine interest in the world of business and current affairs, with a strong understanding of key corporate and financial media
  • Excellent writing skills in French and English and the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms
  • Experience developing media pitches and securing coverage through strong story angles and relationship-building
  • Experience working within integrated communications programs, with an understanding of how earned media connects to owned, paid, social/influencer, and sponsored content
  • An understanding of business-to-consumer PR programs
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with a range of colleagues and clients
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, thoughtful approach to navigating challenges
  • The ability to think ahead, anticipate needs and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • A desire to keep learning, growing and building new skills
  • A passion for building and supporting team culture
  • An understanding of budget management and account administration
