About the Role: 

We are seeking a Director of Marketing, EMEA to lead the charge in building our brand across the region. This isn’t just any marketing role, it’s an opportunity to drive meaningful impact in a new and growing region. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience, blending the strategic rigor of a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company with the agility and innovation of a start-up.

This role will report to the Chief Brand Officer.

This is a full-time hybrid role with benefits based out of London, England, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a robust marketing strategy tailored to the EMEA region, aligning with our global brand mission and values.
  • Market Insights: Conduct deep market research to understand consumer behavior, identify trends, and assess competitive dynamics to inform our brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction for the audiences across the varied countries.
  • Campaign Excellence: Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, out-of-home, PR, and experiential channels to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Brand Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with brand ambassadors, influencers, and creators to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Retail Marketing: Collaborate with our retail team to bring our brand to life in-store.
  • Agency Management: Build and manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Budgeting: Manage brand budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional team members in a matrix organization, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a significant portion spent in both CPG and start-up environments.
  • Experience in the personal care, cosmetics, and/or beauty industries preferred.
  • Proven success in launching and growing brands in new markets.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling brands in new markets.
  • Deep understanding of the UK market and its unique consumer dynamics.
  • Deep understanding of the EMEA region and its unique consumer dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in an additional European language is a plus.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
