Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-growing BI & Analytics team at Kaizen Gaming. As part of our continued expansion, this role will be crucial in driving the next phase of our exciting scale-up data journey. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing  data products that deliver actionable analytics and insights, playing a key role in informing strategic decision-making and supporting business growth across the organization. As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will:

• Collect data requirements based on upcoming business needs of the departments you will work with and subsequently review and validate the newly collected data in close collaboration with stakeholders and the corresponding Data Analysts;
• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data reports. Evaluate, develop and redefine established key metrics;
• Enhance and maintain existing dashboards and reports;
• Maintain the Data Lake (Azure Databricks) and optimize data flows to support reporting needs;
• Safeguard and promote the Company's Data Governance Strategy;  
• Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders to facilitate informed business decisions;
• Ensure alignment and prioritization of data solutions and projects in collaboration with the Data team;
• Contribute to establishing a strong data culture across the organization.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, economics, operations research or a similar field;
• Experience in a reporting, statistical or quantitative role;
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to a non-technical audience;
• A data-driven attitude with an analytical focus and a good understanding of statistical methods;
• Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and interact with senior stakeholders;
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and identify opportunities with minimal oversight;
• Exceptional SQL skills, with advanced proficiency in MS-Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) as well as Google Sheets and Google Slides;
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI (or other dashboarding tool, such as Tableau);
• Experience in Data Manipulation and Data Analysis using Python will be considered a plus;
• High-drive, can-do attitude, and the ability to be proactive and flexible to changing business demands;
• An analytical mindset and detail-oriented with the ability to focus and prioritize workload;
• Experience with Databricks will be considered a strong advantage;
• Fluency in English.
