A Snapshot

As the Senior Solutions Engineer reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will work closely with the rest of the Technology team, as well as other stakeholders, making your mark in a number of ways:

  • Support the team by learning and understanding the customer requirement
  • Help to drive the delivery of the customer solution and product through the complete data centre cycle
  • Support translating customer requirements into key design projects of our data centres in the APAC region and in preparing presentations to customers and executives.

Your Day to Day

  • Manage RFP proposal and deliver key technical / engineering documents.
  • Review and analyze RFP to understand Customer requirements.
  • Lead the production of key technical and sales collateral – High Level M&E Schematic and Technical presentation materials
  • Develop high-level space planning and engineering solutions for our customers
  • Involved in pioneering various engineering solutions relating to design, calculations and other engineering aspects
  • Development of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
  • Lead the preparation of pitch decks, presentation packs and collateral for customers and executives.
  • Lead the coordination within the internal teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
  • Manage workshop, technical session and meeting with Customer.
  • Collaborate with internal stake holders to ensure the final solutions meets our Customer needs and aligned with company goals.
  • Manage and support Customer on their fitout requirement – prepare demarcation schedule.
  • Manage direct communication from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Involve in the negotiation with Customer on technical aspects, technical deviations and alternative solutions. Review Technical Exhibits of the Customer lease.
  • Lead technical tours and presentation for new and existing Customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Building Design, Engineering, and relevant field. Experience in Customer engagement is an advantage.
  • Fluent in MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and good knowledge of BlueBeam and AutoCad
  • Good knowledge of CFD
  • Analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills are a must – written, presentation, verbal at all levels
  • Willing to learn, good attitude and proactive
  • Good leadership acumen to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies
