Join Our Flash Team as an Associate Technical Writer!

Flash is seeking an Associate Technical Writer to support documentation efforts for our OS (Flash PARCS) product line, with a strong focus on quality assurance workflows, troubleshooting, internal knowledge enablement, and also customer-facing docs for the Customer Help Center

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with Flash PARCs or similar parking systems, who can translate real-world operational and technical knowledge into clear, structured, and easy-to-follow documentation.

You will work closely with QA, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure that documentation reflects how the system actually behaves in production—not just how it is designed.

Location: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Hybrid (Monday- Wednesday onsite, Thursday & Friday are remote)

What You'll Do:

  •  Documentation Creation (Core Focus): Create and maintain: troubleshooting guides, QA validation steps, internal knowledge base articles, customer-facing articles, and product workflow documentation.
  • Translate technical and operational scenarios into clear, step-by-step instructions. Ensuring documentation is easy to follow, accurate, and useful for Support, QA, and internal teams.
  • Leverage existing Flash PARCS (OS) knowledge to document real-world system behavior and capture common issues and resolutions.
  • Work with QA and Support to identify recurring problems and standardize troubleshooting approaches.
  • Partner with QA teams to document test cases and validation steps. Ensure documentation aligns with actual system testing. 
  • Documentation Maintenance & Updates
  • Review and update existing materials regularly.  Ensure documentation stay aligned with: product changes, new releases, bug fixes, and known issues

What You Bring:

  • Experience in technical writing, QA, or Support roles
  • Familiarity with knowledge base tools (Confluence, Freshdesk, etc.)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira)
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Comfortable working with technical teams
  • Ability to translate real-world issues into structured documentation
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Flash PARCS (OS) or similar parking/access control systems
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
  • Basic understanding of:
  • Troubleshooting workflows
  • System behavior in production environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation tasks
