Job Title: Biomedical Scientist in Histology

Location: Lancashire

Working Pattern: Core hours only

Hourly Rate: £25-£30

We are currently seeking a Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology to join our client’s team in Lancashire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

- HCPC registration

- Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory

- Experience with microtomy and staining techniques

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- NHS experience or other
