The Role

We are looking for creative, open-minded, and motivated talents who want to help drive new sustainable innovations for our globally successful Salon Hair Care & Hair Color brands.

For the headquarters of our Salon Division in Darmstadt, we are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) in Global Brand Development for Salon Hair Care & Hair Color for 6 months or longer. Preferred start date: as soon as possible, though generally flexible.

What you will do:

• You support the team in defining strategic brand directions, developing new products, as well as in day-to-day operational business and cross-functional coordination processes
• You take ownership of projects that highlight your ability to work independently
• You analyze internal sales data, competitors, market developments, and sustainability topics
• With your creativity, you support the creation of advertising materials, presentations, product copy, and the preparation of photo shoots, as well as brand-related and cross-brand sustainability initiatives

What you will need:

• You are in an advanced stage of your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, ideally with a focus on Marketing or International Management, or a comparable field of study
• You have gained initial practical experience in Marketing or Brand Management, ideally in an international environment
• You have very good written and spoken English skills and ideally at least basic knowledge of German
• You have solid knowledge of MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• You enjoy working on strategic and analytical tasks
• You work independently, in a structured way, and with creativity
• You follow beauty and fashion trends and are interested in new cosmetic products
• You are open to new ideas and challenge the status quo in order to improve things

Für unser Headquarter der Salon Division in Darmstadt suchen wir einen Praktikanten (m/w/d) im Globalen Brand Development für Salon Hair Care & Hair Color für 6 Monate oder länger. Startdatum: gern ab sofort, aber grds. flexibel.

Die Aufgaben im Detail:

• Du unterstützt das Team bei der Definition strategischer Markenausrichtungen, der Entwicklung neuer Produkte, sowie im operativen Tagesgeschäft und in bereichsübergreifenden Abstimmungsprozessen
• Du übernimmst Projekte, die dein selbständiges Handeln unterstreichen
• Du analysierst interne Verkaufsdaten, Mitbewerber, Marktentwicklungen und Nachhaltigkeitsthemen
• Mit deiner Kreativität unterstützt du bei der Erstellung von Werbematerialien, Präsentationen, dem Schreiben von Produkttexten und der Vorbereitung von Shootings sowie bei markenbezogenen oder markenübergreifenden Nachhaltigkeitsthemen

Über dich:

• Du befindest dich im fortgeschrittenen Stadium deines Bachelor - oder Masterstudiums der BWL, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt Marketing oder Internationales Management, oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs
• Du hast erste praktische Erfahrungen im Bereich Marketing/Brand Management gesammelt, gerne im internationalen Umfeld
• Du verfügst über sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift und idealerweise mindestens Grundkenntnisse in Deutsch
• Du bringst gute Kenntnisse in den MS-Office Anwendungen (v.a. PowerPoint, Excel) mit
• Du befasst dich gerne mit strategischen und analytischen Aufgaben
• Du arbeitest gerne selbstständig, strukturiert und kreativ
• Du verfolgst Beauty und Fashion Trends und interessierst dich für neue Kosmetikprodukte
• Du bist offen für Neues, stellst den Status Quo in Frage, um Dinge besser zu machen
