About this role
We are looking for a motivated and diligent Accountant to support the growth of our global business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely general accounting and reporting activities, including journal entries, accrual calculations, and allocation postings
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial records in compliance with IFRS and applicable local accounting standards
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, automation, and internal controls
Skill Set and Qualifications:
- ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification
- 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting or audit, preferably within a multinational environment
- Strong technical knowledge and practical application of IFRS
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial management systems; experience with QuickBooks is an advantage
- Results-driven and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a multicultural setting and collaborating with international teams across different time zones
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Based in Mauritius
