  2. Operate and monitor automated protocols for processes including:
  3. Mammalian cell culture handling
  4. Protein purification workflows
  5. Sample aliquoting and distribution
  6. Perform laboratory operations under aseptic conditions to support recombinant protein expression and processing activities.
  7. Monitor automated runs and identify workflow deviations, ensuring adherence to established SOPs and quality standards.
  8. Manage high-throughput sample workflows, including sample tracking, plate mapping, labeling, and inventory control to ensure traceability and data integrity.
  9. Document experimental procedures and process parameters accurately in ELN, LIMS, or equivalent systems in compliance with data integrity requirements.
  10. Support maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of automation platforms and associated laboratory equipment.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytical, process development, and operations) to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  12. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including workflow optimization, automation efficiency, and process scalability.

Qualifications:

  1. BS or MS in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience in protein production or characterization.
  2. Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling systems (e.g., Dynamic Devices Lynx, Hamilton, Tecan) is strongly preferred.
  3. Familiarity with protein production workflows, including mammalian cell culture, purification, or high-throughput screening environments.
  4. Experience with laboratory data systems such as ELN, LIMS, or similar platforms.
  5. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data integrity and traceability.
  6. Experience in a CRO/CDMO or high-throughput platform environment is a plus.
