 Key Responsibilities

  • According to the department's rules and procedures, synthesize the targeted Gene required by the customer
  • To perform a series of experimental procedures such as PCR, Ligation Transformation, Bacterial Inspection, Plasmid Construction, Quality Inspection and etc.
  • Perform data record analysis, result evaluation and etc.
  • Ensure that safety production management regulations and product production SOP requirements are followed strictly. Operate experiments independently which include: Gene Synthesis, Vector Construction, Gene Mutation, Plasmid Extraction, Sequence Analysis, Sequencing, PCR & qPCR, Reagent Preparation, Quality Inspection and etc.
  • Problem identified in production process should be reported in a timely manner and actively solve the issues with team
  • Make sure the handover of the experiment on the day properly and do simply analysis of the problem is made of the unfinished experiment
  • To complete other tasks assigned by superior

Key Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences / Life Sciences / Bioengineering / Chemistry or related courses
  • Solid foundation in Molecular Biology and Cell Biology; strong background in experimental operation; familiar with Conventional techniques of genetic engineering, such as Isolation and Manipulation of DNA (i.e: Primer Design, Plasmid Design, PCR, Restriction Digestion, Homologous Recombination, CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing, Transformation, Plasmid Isolation, Sequence Analysis and etc.) is preferred
  • Strong sense of achievement; resilient and able to perform under the pressure
  • Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with 2 rest days that may not always fall on weekends
