We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Bolt Food team in Prague, the Sales Manager will focus on acquiring top brands and restaurant chains nationally. This is a critical senior level position within our sales team fit for a seasoned sales leader, someone who not only excels in strategic negotiations but also possesses a profound understanding of the industry dynamics and the acumen to navigate complex business landscapes.

<strong>About the role</strong>

As a Business Development Manager, your role will build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and contacts within these organisations and utilise solution selling to build internal consensus. Your ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in these significant accounts is vital. The timing of the sales process will be as important as the intelligence gathering of your sales endeavours.

Beyond direct sales responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in shaping our sales strategies and processes. Your experience in B2B cold sales and a track record of successful negotiations with top-level accounts positions you as an invaluable asset in guiding our sales team. An essential aspect of your role includes supporting the Team Lead in fostering a culture of excellence within the sales team. You will be instrumental in mentoring and guiding team members, sharing your expertise, and helping to onboard new members.




<strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:</strong>

  • Outbound Field Sales: Oversee a complex sales process and cycle for outbound leads, including researching, initiating contact, visiting restaurants and signing large groups and chains.
  • Solution Selling: Utilise sophisticated selling techniques such as Challenger, SPIN, SNAP. Identify and discover needs not being met with existing platforms and opportunities for partnership.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders within large national chains, gather competitor intel and influence decision-making.
  • Planning: Prepare and execute business development plans for each individual lead. These plans should have a schedule and a roadmap for outreach and meetings.
  • Proposals: Develop compelling proposals and present them to C-Suite.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate sophisticated deal terms for high revenue deals.


 

<strong>About you:</strong>

  • Minimum 5 years of consistently achieving sales targets at a sophisticated level. 
  • Experience in negotiation with decision makers of top-level enterprise accounts. 
  • Successful full cycle execution of high value deals. 
  • Sales experience in food delivery, marketplace, or other e-commerce companies. 
  • Ability to quickly build relationships with target prospects and maintain them. 
  • Fluency in the local operational language and English, both verbal and written. 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities. 
  • Engaging personality and ability to influence.
