We are looking for a solutions-driven Strategy & Operations Senior Associate - Rider Domain to oversee supply and demand & to optimize and strategically propose innovation for our ride-hailing operations in Romania.

We're looking for a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate to join the Rider Domain team in Romania.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role - you'll work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to manage our category portfolio, increase category performance, and expand Bolt's footprint through launching new categories across Romania.

You'll play a key role in building and managing strategic partnerships with venues, airports, banks, and other key partners to unlock new growth opportunities and strengthen Bolt's position in the market.

• Growing category performance - optimising category portfolio performance, identifying growth levers, and leading category expansion by launching new categories in existing cities and entering new ones.
• Building and manage strategic partnerships - identifying, negotiating, and develop ingcommercial relationships with venues, airports, banks, and other external partners to unlock new growth channels and drive incremental demand.
• Leading cross-functional projects end-to-end - taking full ownership of initiatives, working together with Legal, Marketing, Public Policy, and PR from problem diagnosis through to execution and outcome tracking.
• Working together with local and regional teams to deliver shared strategic initiatives, optimise business performance and improve results across the Rider domain.

• You have 3-5+ years of experience with a strong analytical foundation - whether in consulting, banking/finance, operations, a high-growth startup, or any environment where rigorous data analysis and structured thinking are essential.
• You have a strong commercial outlook - you translate numbers into decisions, spot opportunities, and always think about the bigger business picture. You are someone who owns outcomes, not just tasks.
• You have a get-it-done attitude - you pick up a problem, form a hypothesis, and push it through to resolution. You manage multiple projects simultaneously, stay organised under pressure, and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
• You are a strong communicator in English and Romanian, comfortable working with stakeholders from local teams to senior leadership and international counterparts.
• You are skilled in Excel / Google Sheets and have a strong financial literacy - a solid understanding of unit economics, P&L, and key financial metrics is expected.
