About this role
Overview
The Manager, Social Services, works closely with social services staff to coordinate services for patients according to hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines. The position also ensures services provided meet the psychosocial needs of the patient at the appropriate level of care. The position is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, providing mental health expertise in addition to community outreach, networking, and liaison with community programs as needed. The position ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied.
Qualifications
MSW degree from an accredited school required.
Two years acute or related medical care experience required.
Management experience preferred.
LCSW required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
