Human Resources Business Partner

Senior Living | Regional Role

American House is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support multiple senior living communities across a designated region. This role partners closely with Executive Directors and regional leaders to strengthen hiring, retention, performance management, and workplace culture.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with community and regional leaders on staffing, retention, and employee engagement
  • Support hiring and onboarding for leadership and key roles
  • Advise leaders on performance management, employee relations, and compliance
  • Conduct investigations and guide fair, consistent people practices
  • Use workforce data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Support regional and company‑wide HR initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • 7–10 years of HR experience, including multi‑site or regional support
  • Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong employment law knowledge (Michigan)
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region
