Pharmacy Assistant (No experience needed!)

We are looking for hungry and driven people to join us as Pharmacy Assistants, where you’ll be responsible for helping keep our pharmacy operating smoothly by owning the picking and packing responsibilities.

What will you be doing?

Prescription Handling

• Receive, sort, organise, and file prescriptions accurately.

• Ensure prescriptions and paperwork are stored correctly and securely.

Administrative Support

• Print, scan, file, and maintain pharmacy documentation.

• Complete basic administrative and record-keeping tasks.

• Assist with data entry and document organisation as required.

Packing & Order Preparation

• Assemble boxes and packaging materials required for order processing.

• Pack customer orders according to pharmacy procedures.

• Prepare materials and supplies needed for daily operations.

Operational Support

• Move orders between workstations to support workflow.

• Assist dispensers, pharmacists, and other team members with operational tasks.

• Help maintain an organised and efficient working environment.

Stock Management

• Support stock counts and inventory checks.

• Assist with organising and replenishing stock.

• Report stock discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.

Workplace & Clinic Preparation

• Prepare clinic and pharmacy areas at the start of the day.

• Assist with closing and tidying work areas at the end of the day.

• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of workspaces.

What do you need?

• Reliable, punctual, able to follow instructions and willing to work as part of a team.

• You enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable doing some physical work.

• No prior experience needed, a willingness to learn as full training provided!

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of confidentiality and basic compliance requirements is desirable.

What we offer:

• Full-time (40 hours/week) & Part-time work (16 or 24 hours/week)

• Pay: £10.85/hour for ages 18-20, £12.71/hour for ages 21+

• Flexible shifts patterns Monday to Saturday
