- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (occasional alternating schedule)

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Manage internal and external referrals and authorizations within the EHR system
- Coordinate follow-up care, diagnostic testing, procedures, and specialty appointments
- Verify insurance information and ensure payer requirements are met prior to services
- Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and scheduling teams to support patient care
- Communicate with patients, providers, and external facilities to ensure timely referrals and authorizations
- Maintain accurate patient and insurance information within EHR systems
- Serve as a resource for referral processes, payer guidelines, and workflow improvements
- Assist with training, mentoring, and supporting team members as needed
- Monitor and follow up on referral denials and authorization issues
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Education & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (AA degree preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and referral/authorization processes
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of medical office experience
- Experience with physician office or hospital referrals required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
