Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

In this senior‑level role, you will provide high‑quality patient care under the direction of a physician or Advanced Practice Provider while also serving as a clinical resource and mentor for other Medical Assistants.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct patient care in an ambulatory setting
• Assisting providers during exams and procedures
• Collecting and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record
• Administering approved medications and treatments per provider orders
• Supporting patient education and care coordination
• Acting as a liaison for scheduling specialty testing or consultations
• Participating in quality initiatives and process improvement efforts
• Supporting orientation, training, and ongoing development of Medical Assistants
• Serving as a preceptor and clinical role model
• Collaborating closely with providers, leadership, and administrative teams

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program or applicable experience as outlined in the job description
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification 
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or equivalent) 
• Experience that meets senior‑level expectations (we are flexible and will consider candidates whose background aligns with the scope and leadership responsibilities of the role)
