Overview

The Branch Operations Manager is the leader of the branch and is responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met at the highest level.  The Branch Operations Manager will support all personnel and build a culture of teamwork.  They will manage multiple priorities and must demonstrate initiative, resilience, attention to detail, sense of urgency, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and a dedication to finding solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.

Parts Responsibilities:

  • Directing and controlling the branch parts and service departments to ensure efficient, safe and profitable operation by supporting branch and corporate objectives and by maintaining the highest quality parts service to the customer.
  • Developing, monitoring, and managing annual budgets and objectives for the parts and service departments.
  • Promoting good customer relations relative to increasing annual parts sales, investigating and resolving customer complaints.
  • Supervising and evaluating parts employees' work performance.

Service Responsibilities:

  • Directing and controlling the branch service department to ensure an efficient and profitable operation by supporting branch and corporate objectives, and by maintaining the highest quality of service to the customer.
  • Developing, monitoring and managing annual budgets and objectives for the service department.
  • Ensuring quality repair work and superior customer satisfaction to include the timely resolution of customer complaints and disputes.
  • Administering all service and warranty policies.
  • Supervising and evaluating service employees work performance.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales department to achieve company market share goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Minimum of 3 years' industry experience or equivalent is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of communication skills (written and oral) necessary with customers, coworkers and supervisors is required.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle stress associated with deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills are required with preference given to candidates with DBS and SIS experience.
  • Must be willing to work as required to achieve desired results.
  • Must be an enthusiastic hard worker with ability to complete work based on self-initiative and with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • The physical environment requires the employees to work primarily inside throughout the year.
  • Position requires employee to be physically present at designated worksite location.
  • Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.
  • Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
