Job Summary

The Project Manager II (Government App Builder) will demonstrate strong ability to Manage Project scope (quality deliverables and customer experience), time (duration), and costs (effort), Manage Communications effectively with internal and external stakeholders, Manage the Solution Development: deliver successful solution deployments in close partnership with cross functional teams, while Manage Customer Expectations: maintaining a seamless customer experience and overall satisfaction from the process and the results. Government App Builder is a low code, no code platform that enables state and local governments to build and implement solutions for grants management, disaster preparedness and recovery, capital planning, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Set scope, timeline, and deliverables to ensure successful deployment for assigned customers

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, with responsibilities varying based on each project’s complexity, size, and scope

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for project implementation activity, with support from senior team members as needed

  • Support project command and control of project delivery both internally and externally

  • Partner with cross functional teams to gather key documentation and required resources in order to set appropriate expectations with internal and external stakeholders

  • Participate in the sales process as needed

  • Support development of implementation approaches, scope, and plans

  • Support Statement of Work creation on an as needed basis

  • Identify early signs of project and customer risks and escalate or support mitigation strategies

  • Occasionally travel to customer sites to conduct training and support customer relationships

  • Contribute to enhancing our methodology of project delivery of our growing set of solutions

Requirements And Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management or related experience in a SaaS or technology environment

  • Experience supporting or managing projects related to grant administration, financial tracking, reporting, compliance, or capital budgeting

  • Familiarity with government budgeting concepts and practices, including capital improvement planning, is strongly preferred

  • Strong aptitude for technology tools and solutions

  • Strong analytical thinking, system perspective, and process analysis skills

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to translate detailed requirements into actionable plans

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond to customer needs

  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with Professional Services and CRM tools

Compensation:

Chicago, IL: $85,000 - $95,000

On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.

 

The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
