Today, more than 1,800 team members help keep our stores, facilities, and operations running smoothly across the state. Now we’re looking for another skilled problem-solver to join us.

Your Role

As a Maintenance Technician, no two days look exactly the same — and that’s part of the fun.

Based out of Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula, you’ll work independently and alongside fellow technicians to keep our locations safe, functional, and looking their best. A company maintenance van is provided for work purposes, giving you the tools and mobility you need to succeed.

In this role, you’ll:

• Repair and maintain store structures and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures and conduit
• Perform plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry repairs
• Move, install, and adjust motors, fixtures, and equipment
• Test electrical systems for safety and code compliance
• Patch concrete and asphalt surfaces
• Support other technicians and maintenance projects as needed
• Help keep our stores operating safely and efficiently every day

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, and ready to jump in wherever needed.

Successful candidates will have:

• Experience with general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical work
• Comfort using hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and manage travel between locations
• A valid driver’s license and reliable work ethic
• Flexibility for occasional emergency call-outs or weekend work

Work Environment

This role keeps you moving. You’ll work indoors and outdoors around mechanical equipment, electrical systems, varying weather conditions, and moderate to loud noise levels.

The regular schedule begins at 7:00 A.M., Monday through Friday, though occasional overtime or emergency response work may be needed.

Physical Requirements

This position is active and hands-on. You’ll regularly stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, lift materials, and work with tools and equipment throughout the day. Frequent lifting of 25+ pounds is expected.
