Job Overview

The Supply Chain and Planning Team Lead (hybrid role) is responsible for leading planning and supply chain activities that directly influence internal customer experience, service performance, and operational reliability. This role drives the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of strong, scalable processes across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The position partners closely with internal customers, operations, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure material availability, delivery performance, and responsive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain and planning activities to support customer requirements, service levels, and business priorities.
  • Build, standardize, and strengthen planning and execution processes that improve reliability, responsiveness, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Influence customer outcomes by ensuring accurate planning, proactive communication, and timely resolution of supply or delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate customer demand into actionable supply, inventory, and production plans.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, inventory health, on-time delivery, service level, and planning adherence
  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and risks, and implement corrective actions that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead escalation management for supply constraints, shortages, late deliveries, or demand changes, balancing customer needs with business priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process mapping, standard work, governance routines, and system discipline.
  • Prepare bid comparisons and document sourcing decisions for low- to mid-value buys.
  • Coach and develop team members, set priorities, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Support S&OP or integrated planning routines by providing data-driven insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations.
  • Lead the development of the team through challenging technical aspects of product, career planning discussions, and strategic objective setting.
  • Create and maintain KPI reports, and present to the management team on Performance.

Required

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant Engineering Field.
  • +10years of working experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Planning and Manufacturing Engineering field.
  • 5+Project Management Experience.
  • At least +5 Years experience as People Manager.
  • Experience in Global Supply Chain and MFG Planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, D365, or Oracle, often a critical requirement.
  • Process Improvement/Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience from R&D/NPIs to High Volume implementations

  • Experience in spend analysis and cost modeling.
  • Logistics Coordination: Understanding commercial terms (Incoterms).
  • Data Analysis background (PBI, Excel: mastery of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, macros and Data visualization)
