For our Nordics organization and based in Oslo, we are currently looking for an EH&S Specialist (m/f/d). The role will primarily focus on Norway, while also holding responsibility for Denmark and - on a project-perspective - also Sweden. We are looking for an EH&S professional with a strong hands-on mindset, who enjoys being close to operations and making safety work in the field. You will work closely with sites and teams to ensure compliance, improve safety practices, and support day-to-day operations across the Nordics.Responsibilities
- Implement and ensure compliance with all CCR and regulatory EH&S requirements.
- Promote a "ZERO Incident" culture and actively encourage the reporting of near misses and work stoppages.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce hazard control measures for field operations and facilities.
- Ensure contractor compliance with EH&S standards.
- Lead mandatory EH&S reporting, including incident management, monthly reports, and performance KPIs.
- Monitor EH&S annual plans, training activities, and performance objectives.
- Support global and regional EH&S strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Solid professional experience in the EH&S field.
- Good knowledge of Norwegian EH&S regulations (relevant certifications are an advantage), as well as familiarity with EH&S regulations in Denmark.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional Scandinavian language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Norway and Denmark.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining EH&S management systems.
- Strong analytical mindset, results-driven, and able to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage change and drive performance improvements.
