Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Imaging Special Procedures Technologist, you will be a central figure in our advanced imaging team, expertly performing complex diagnostic and interventional procedures using various imaging modalities to obtain critical diagnostic information. You will play a vital role in patient care, ensuring technical precision, radiation safety, and patient comfort.

 

Every day, you will meticulously prepare procedure rooms, operate advanced imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, angiography), administer contrast safely, and assist physicians during intricate interventions. You will also provide essential patient education, monitor conditions closely, maintain meticulous records, and perform daily quality assurance, strictly adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

 

To be successful in this role, you will combine ARRT certification, specialized advanced certification (e.g., CV, VI, or CT), and a profound understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and procedural imaging. You will demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail, thriving in a dynamic, high-pressure environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, precise special procedures imaging.

Job Requirements

Required

  • California State Department of Health Services certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), upon hire.
  • Current California license as certifed Radiologic Technologist with Fluoroscopic permit, upon hire
  • Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR - authorized by the American Heart Association, upon hire.
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, upon hire.

Preferred

  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire.
