Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Paramedic Patient Care Tech at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will provide advanced emergency medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.Every day you will rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions, and administer life-saving interventions, while safely operating emergency vehicles and documenting care.To be successful, you will demonstrate expert clinical skills, exceptional critical thinking under stress, and compassionate communication, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

• Assists in patient/equipment preparation and retrieves necessary equipment and supplies
• Documents clinically relevant findings in patient's record according to hospital protocols
• Prepares patients for transportation to other department/areas
• Assists with patient admission discharge and transfer. Discharges patients, documents discharge, and adjusts discharge with MD order and in collaboration with RN
• Initiates orders according to the time performance standards

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Graduate or GED
• Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic: AZ
• American Heart Association BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS, within 6  months 
• American Heart Association PALS, within 6  months 

Preferred

• Direct patient care experience
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic NREMT
