Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Adheres to established Hospital/departmental policies and procedures, objectives, Quality Assessment and Improvement Program, legal, safety, environmental, infection control standards, Nurse Practices Act and Patient's Bill of Rights.
  • Applies clinical knowledge and expertise for coordinating patient care by regularly planning and evaluating the care of patients.
  • Establishes and maintains professional and collaborative relationships with other staff members, physicians, patients, patient family members, and the public as appropriate, while assuring confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Demonstrates effective nursing judgement and a working knowledge of the nursing process.
  • Provides guidance to interdisciplinary team members by supervising nursing interventions and assisting with related tasks.
  • Provides leadership by establishing priorities and coordinating nursing care.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Successful completion of an accredited/approved Nursing program
  • Minimum one year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area, upon hire 
  • Current and Active Registered Nurse: CA
  • AHA Basic Life Support  / Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Fire Safety, within 90 Days
