Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be a critical member of our Imaging Services team, responsible for performing a comprehensive range of general, neuro, and interventional radiography procedures across diverse patient settings.
Every day you will meticulously perform X-rays, fluorscopies, portables, and surgical imaging (OR/Litho) procedures, meticulously following two-patient identification and gel in/out protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will be a High School Graduate with at least six months of radiology experience and completion of an approved American College of Radiology Radiologic Technologist program.
- Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others.Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc).
- Always produces high quality films. Accurately marks radiographs with R's and L's, supine and upright (ifappropriate); and assures that patient information is clearly visible.
- Competent in one or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology (fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma)
- Understands the interrelation and operates the various computer systems such as RCO, Radnet, PACS and other hospital systems.

Required
- High School Graduate/GED
- Medical Radiographer: AZ
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, or
- Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR
Preferred
- Six months radiology experience
