Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. Job Summary and Responsibilities

Job Summary: 

The histology technician is responsible for performing procedures such as processing, embedding, cutting, mounting, and staining tissue specimens for the pathologic examination and diagnosis.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training: 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
