Serving both Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, our state-of-the-art Electroencephalography (EEG) Department offers the opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that is dedicated to providing exemplary patient care, supported by ongoing professional career development, and growth opportunities.  Our EEG Department offers adult and neonatal EEG services, both inpatient and outpatient and is expanding in Neuroscience services. The Neurodiagnostic Tech II is a mid-level specialist position. While in this Neurodiagnostic Tech position you will perform procedures appropriate to their competence, according to the facility policy and procedures, including test setup, electrode application, maintaining patient safety and other related duties.

Your Neurodiagnostic Technologist Schedule in this position is typically M-F 8:30a-5p / 8 hour shifts with intermittent call required

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program, or an Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• BLS issued from the American Heart Association 
• EEG Tech Certification Required 

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
