Job Summary and Responsibilities
- High School education or equivalent in work experience current CPR certification
- Performs electroencephalographic tests and other neurological examinations as requested
- Assists physicians as requested
- Participates in Ambulatory Services Depart support activities
- One (1) year recent experience as an EEG technician in an acute care facility
- Certification as an EEG technician preferred.
Job Requirements
- Currently working towards obtaining EEG certification from ABRET.
- Demonstrates knowledge and application skills of common neurological testing and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others across all departments and neurologists.
- Accurately assess patient's physical and emotional condition.
- Provides accurate and complete documentation.
- Current CPR certification required.
