Job Summary and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

 

Participates as a member of the health care team, working with professional, non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum continuity of care to referred patients, addressing the age of the patients served.

Job Requirements

**Offering a 7,500 Sign-on Bonus for qualified applicants

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Current licensure by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance as a speech and language pathologist
  • Current BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
  • One year experience as a speech therapist
  • Knowledge and ability to perform a speech pathology assessment and evaluation
  • Knowledge of principles, concepts, diagnostic, and therapeutic techniques for speech therapy
  • Ability to implement practical application of knowledge
  • Ability to function independently and autonomously
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English
  • Ability to teach and instruct patient, family, and staff

Preferred Qualifications: 

6 months to one year home health experience preferred
