Job Summary and Responsibilities
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Imaging Tech II /CT Scanner Technician to join our dynamic medical imaging team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation. - Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond promptly.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain relevant clinical information for accurate image interpretation.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document and record patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system

Job Requirements
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school.
- Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
- License is required as issued by ARRT (national), CRT (state), and Fluoroscopy certification.
- Certification in one modality is required.
- Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
