Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

  • Performs CT exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.
  • Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
  • Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems
  • Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.
  • Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
  • Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Medical Radiographer: TX
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR

Preferred

  • Associates degree
  • One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting
