Specific Responsibilities Would Include

We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our apparel merchandising team in India, specifically focusing on garment production. The ideal candidate will support data entry and administrative tasks related to costing and production tracking. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the apparel merchandising sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data input for Costing Grid updates related to garments and trims.
• Support the merchandising team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Utilize MS Excel to analyze, update, and report production data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication between merchandising, production, and suppliers.
• Maintain organized records and documentation related to apparel production activities.
• Assist in sample tracking, purchase order follow-ups, and vendor communication.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support the merchandising workflow.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

Additional Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree majoring in Textile and Garment Technology, Fashion design or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Pivot Tables.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
