Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Overall Responsibilities    

• Lead, mentor, and manage handbag merchandiser team.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's professional growth and development.
• Develop and execute handbags merchandising strategy, Collaborate with the team to analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to shape the strategy.
• Work closely with design and the team to plan handbag collections that align with the brand's vision.
• Oversee the team's efforts in determining the pricing strategies, and SKU allocation.
• Oversee the team's efforts in establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Participate in negotiations and key decisions related to terms, pricing, and quality standards.
• Guide the team input and analyzing data, Review and contribute to regular reports.
• Foster collaboration between teams to align efforts and achieve business goals.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

Additional Requirements     

• Proven working experience in merchandising field.

• Knowledge of Handbag manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques

• Creative mindset with a keen eye for product presentation and visual aesthetics.

• Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices

• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working across diverse teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products,
