About the Role

Culmen is seeking a Physical Science Technician to support our mission in Lamdshuhl, Germany.

 

The Physical Science Technician provides technical support for laboratory operations, research activities, sample processing, and equipment maintenance. The position assists scientists and researchers in executing laboratory procedures and maintaining operational readiness.

 

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Receive, process, label, and track laboratory samples.
  • Prepare reagents, media, and laboratory materials.
  • Assist with testing and research protocols.
  • Operate laboratory equipment under established procedures.
  • Maintain laboratory inventories and supplies.
  • Document laboratory activities and maintain records.
  • Support laboratory quality assurance programs.
  • Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in biological or chemical science OR equivalent work experience in a relevant lab setting.
  • Abiliy to perform various operational tasks including sample processing, customer service, and utilizing aLaboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Fluent in English
