Specific Responsibilities Would Include:

Overall Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with the NY design team on a daily basis, providing real-time information to support their creative processes.• Conducting market research to identify customer preferences, trends, and competitors, informing handbag development.• Communicating effectively with design, suppliers, factories, teammates to ensure accurate information exchange.• Ensuring handbag samples meet quality standards before customer presentation.• Monitoring timelines, tracking progress, and managing multiple projects.• Cultivating supplier relationships, negotiating prices, suggesting cost-saving alternatives.• Creating order charts and making sure they are accurate before placing to the production team.• Diligently overseeing the confirmation and pre-production (P.P) sample in collaboration with the QA team.• Collaborating closely with the production team to address any customer inquiries or concerns.

Additional Requirements

• Proven working experience in merchandising• Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for merchandising/design• Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices• Knowledge of Handbag manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field• Excellent verbal and written communications skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products
