Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
  • Identify bugs and quality issues in development, service or business processes.
  • Collaborate with other to understand how automation can improve workflow.
  • Gather requirements from management, control operators, office personnel, vendors, and end-users to develop the best automation solutions.
  • Implements computer system(s) and their requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.
  • Define application problems by conferring with process control operators and other  computer and network users.
  • Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
  • Controls solution by establishing specifications and implementing programming and programming changes.
  • Validates results by testing programs.
  • Ensures stable operations by instructing operators and other personnel and providing support.
  • Maintains plant computer network and servers
  • Make recommendations as to necessary repairs, upgrades or replacement of computer equipment.
  • Perform process network design and capacity planning
  • Installs and maintains network file servers and network operating systems.
  • Diagnoses problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.
  • Manage all local network computers and installing any needed software.
  • Maintenance and management of VOIP phone system.
  • Repair, modification, and installation of computer software, hardware, and peripheral devices, and resolve issues as they occur.
  • Provide computer/system users with technical training and assistance as necessary.
  • Correspond with Corporate IT regarding advance technical issues.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • No licenses are required for this position.
  • Minimum of two-year technical degree or equivalent, or five years experience in related field.
  • Excellent communication and language skills.
  • Excellent organizational and decision making abilities
