This is a hybrid role that will require working in our Phoenix, Arizona office at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

•    Performs customer service functions by responding to employee inquiries related to 401(k), Canadian Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), HSA, FSA, and reimbursement accounts•    Supports day-to-day retirement plan operations including enrollments, contribution changes, and coordination with recordkeepers and third-party administrators•    Coordinates and supports non-discrimination testing, audits, and annual compliance requirements for retirement plans•    Oversees reimbursement account programs (FSA, HRA, LSAs), including eligibility, claims administration coordination, and employee support•    Performs regular reconciliation of benefit-related accounts including 401(k) and RRSP contributions, HSA funding, and reimbursement account balances for accuracy between payroll, vendors, and internal systems•    Assists with HSA administration, including contribution tracking, IRS limit compliance, and coordination with vendors•    Supports benefit billing review, discrepancy resolution, and vendor invoice reconciliation for retirement, HSA, and reimbursement accounts•    Supports the 401(k) Committee with Plan governance, compliance, and continuous improvement of plan design and performance•    Assists with open enrollment activities including data validation, system setup support, employee communications, and issue resolution•    Supports compliance with applicable regulations including ERISA and IRS requirements as applicable to assigned programs•    Develops and maintains process documentation for benefit administration procedures and reconciliation practices for assigned programs•    Provides support with employee communications, including educational materials related to retirement and account-based benefits•    Partners with internal payroll and finance teams to resolve discrepancies that promotes timely and accurate benefit funding•    Assists with special projects and process improvements related to benefit program administration

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related field•    5 years of mid-level Employee Benefit experience with an emphasis on retirement and account-based plans; with a total of 8-10 years of general benefit experience•    Working knowledge of 401(k) plan administration, RRSP administration, HSA/FSA programs, and related compliance requirements•    Experience with 401(k) administration, including testing and compliance processes•    Knowledge of HSA, FSA, and reimbursement account regulations and administration•    Knowledge of Canadian RRSP•    Experience working with third-party administrators, recordkeepers, or benefit consultants•    Experience working with HRIS, payroll interfaces, and vendor file management

•    Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and financial information•    Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail and accuracy•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines •    Strong problem-solving skills, particularly related to data discrepancies and vendor coordination•    Ability to communicate complex benefit information clearly to employees•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and HRIS systems

•    Professional certifications such as CEBS, QKA, or related
