What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

• Performs patrol of buildings and perimeter fence(s).  
• Enforces regulations regarding the safeguards of propriety and classified information.  
• Monitors activities outside the perimeter area by usage of surveillance equipment or physical patrol.
• Assures all employees, visitors and customers observe security rules and regulations.  
• May maintain the security database and ensures proper operation of the access control system.  
• May be responsible for issuing badges to company personnel and contracted vendors.  
• Assists emergency team members as directed and may perform duties as traffic control coordinator during emergencies.
• May perform person and package searches (employee and non-employee).  
• Performs job duties in a safe manner. Promotes a safe and healthy workplace by following safety rules.
• May perform inspections of vehicles entering or leaving premises.  
• May provide janitorial crew oversight.  
• May control property exiting the facilities by assuring completion of proper passes.  
• May be required to work night and/or weekend shifts.

What You'll Bring

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 0 years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail.  
• Ability to monitor surroundings and detect unusual behavior.
• Provide quick response in emergencies.  
• Basic communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.    
• Successful completion of required security training, physical, fitness test and psychological evaluation, as applicable.  
• Must pass site access security requirements.  
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Salary: $21.60 - $28.30 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
