The role:

As a Full-Stack Engineer at LBR, your primary responsibility is the development and improvement of the company’s digital product portfolio. You will be working independently as well as part of your team, continuing to improve your technical skills and keeping aware of new technologies. Developers should also flag any threats to LBRs digital product portfolio for both internal systems and external that they become aware of.

Responsibilities

Implementation

  • Work, as part of your team, with the software and product teams to deliver the software roadmap to develop and constantly improve the customer facing products
  • Continuous improvement for web development
  • Quality, security and performance of the codebase
  • Work within the company’s processes and support company initiatives
  • Support your manager and Senior Developers to define technical deliverables for roadmap work
  • Technical implementation of sprint objectives
  • Provide broad brush estimates for roadmap planning and finer grained estimates for sprint planning

Operational: Help to resolve issues with applications in a timely manner

Security: Keep bugs and known security vulnerabilities to a minimum

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a software development role with strong IT knowledge and ability to solve complex tech problems
  • Understand the principles of developing reliable software that can scale to business needs, plus essential knowledge of best practice principles
  • Experience of working within an Agile software development environment
  • IT knowledge and ability to use Visual Studio, VS Code, Jira, Confluence
  • Self-motivated and driven with excellent time management skills
  • Good business and process analysis skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and to escalate where necessary
  • Capable of developing good relationships with product managers and stakeholders
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Clear communicator
  • Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
  • Address any issues with a positive attitude
