Job Summary

Provide psychiatric evaluation and management for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings, with oversight of behavioral health conditions and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage complex mental health conditions

• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications

• Supervise and collaborate with psychiatric NPs and facility staff

• Participate in behavioral health quality initiatives and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree

• Completion of Psychiatry residency

• NY State medical license, DEA

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
