We are hiring a hands-on IT Technician with strong experience in Windows Server administration, network support, and desktop troubleshooting. This role supports a multi-site environment, including field locations, and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems while delivering excellent customer service.
You will play a critical role in maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting end users, and ensuring systems run efficiently across the organization.
NOTE: This is an on-site position in our Corporate Office in Allendale NJ. This is NOT a remote/hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems
- Set up workstations, printers, routers, and other IT equipment
- Provide desktop support and help desk troubleshooting for end users
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (LAN/WAN)
- Administer and support Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange)
- Perform preventative maintenance and on-site IT support at field locations
- Ensure network security and data protection standards are maintained
- Document issues, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Coordinate system upgrades and patches with minimal downtime
- Train users on new systems, applications, and IT best practices
- Monitor equipment inventory and recommend purchases
- Travel to business locations as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange)
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Experience with IT support, help desk systems, and remote management tools
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 support
- Experience supporting desktop hardware, system deployments, and IT infrastructure
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a multi-site or enterprise IT environment
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar
- Experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or POS systems
- Exposure to database systems or backend support
