About the Role

As Suno’s Mobile Engineering Manager, your main responsibility will be hiring and leading the teams that develop and maintain our mobile apps, including our Android team.

What You’ll Do

• Manage, develop, and grow a team of mobile engineers and team leads

• Leadership responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, performance management, career development, and fostering team culture

• Partner with other product and engineering leaders to facilitate cross-team alignment and coordinate execution across distributed engineering efforts

• Ensure high code quality, robust testing, and scalable architecture while balancing rapid iteration with long-term maintainability and security requirements

What You’ll Need

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing a mobile engineering team

• Hands-on Android Experience sufficient to lead and support an Android team; deep Android specialization is not required

• Excel at both writing production code and leading engineering teams, with experience shipping complex features from concept to deployment

• Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and can balance multiple priorities while maintaining team focus

• An obsession with great user experiences, getting the details right, iterating and learning rapidly, and working hard

• Experience at a consumer tech company is preferred

• Experience at both larger and smaller, high-growth companies is preferred

• Experience scaling teams to 20+ software engineers is preferred

• A love of music (listening, exploring, making) is preferred

• This role requires working onsite in NYC (Chelsea)

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $250K – $325K + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401k)
