Warehouse Clerk

We are actively seeking a Shipping Order Picker This role involves supporting warehouse operations through order management, material handling, and equipment maintenance. The incumbent will take instructions from supervisors for picking orders, assist in loading and unloading trucks, prepare and organize pallets, and ensure equipment such as electric pallet jacks is functioning properly. Additionally, the job includes verifying order accuracy, replenishing stock, and performing tasks related to labeling, sorting, and storing products to ensure efficient inventory management.  As a Shipping Order Picker, you will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Take orders from Manager for order picking activities. 
• Assist in loading and unloading items from delivery trucks. 
• Prepare pallets for handling objects appropriately. 
• Perform pre-checks on electric pallet jacks and Forklift to ensure that they are in proper working order. 
• Ensure that electric pallet jacks are maintained on a periodic basis. 
• Pick orders from storage areas and verify the accuracy of orders from order sheets. 
• Perform a variety of warehousing tasks such as replenishing pick locations. 
• Perform labeling, sorting, and storing of picked products. 

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial • Basic computer knowledge • Basic math since we are dealing with Infor that requires operators to input data into the system • The ability to read and understand invoices and storage directions

Education and Experience:• One (1-2) year or more experience working in a Warehouse and/or industrial environment • Experienced in operating an electric pallet jack and Forklift

Physical Requirements:• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment • Perform tasks such as lifting 15 pounds at a time, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up work in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment • Physical ability to walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to 6-8 hours. Pay Rate:$19-$20 per hours
