Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. General Dynamics experience is strongly preferred. Clearance Requirements:Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As the Advanced Security Specialist, you’ll coordinate and perform routine to intermediate security tasks to ensure compliance with contractual, program and security requirements. This will include participating in the administration and coordination of one or more security programs/activities, conducting security briefings, maintaining security education programs and planning for new security programs, including proposal preparation. Additionally, we will rely on you to provide leadership to a team as well as partner with various government agencies to ensure corporation is compliant with directives and regulations and obtains rulings, interpretations and deviations, as appropriate.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field or the equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge of all security policies and procedures and ability to interpret security requirements and apply them consistently across diverse situations
  • Fully proficient knowledge of all general functions and substantial understanding of policies and procedures to include the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual Supplement (NISPOMSUP), National Security Agency (NSA) Industrial COMSEC Manual, 90-1, specific Program Security Directives (PSD)

Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this the Advance Security Specialist will perform essential, day-to-day security tasks mandated by NSCM, NISPOM, ICDs, NBF 100, and Customer Directives, including:

  • Provide day-to-day security oversight in the Scottsdale facility where SCI work is conducted.
  • Coordinate SCI security matters including personnel vetting issues and security incidents with the COTR, PSM, PSO
  • Implement and execute all SCI security requirements outlined in the NCSM , as well as any additional guidance issued by the Customer security director.
  • Conduct annual self-inspections and document any necessary corrective action plans.
  • Establish, conduct, and document initial, situational, and annual refresher training for all assigned SCI-accessed individuals.
  • Develop, maintain, and submit program protection implementation plans to the Customer for endorsement annually.
  • Work with the Program Manager to create a secure environment to protect SCI information at each SCIF at a contractor location.

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $96,142.00 - USD $104,029.00 /Yr.
