Responsibilities

  • Perform space-based GEOINT analysis to support Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI) and baseline reporting
  • Task and exploit U.S. Government and commercial satellite collection
  • Apply OBP, SOM, and ABI methodologies to complex intelligence problems
  • Build analytic models and integrate multi-source data
  • Partner with GEOINT analysts across the IC and DoD to scope problems and shape collection strategy
  • Deliver findings through written products and multimedia briefings to senior audiences

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required 
  • PhD in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field + 5 years current GEOINT analysis experience, OR
    • MA/MS in same fields + 10 years current GEOINT analysis experience, OR
    • BA/BS in same fields + 15 years intelligence analysis experience, including 8 years current GEOINT analysis

Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge of U.S. Government and commercial satellite capabilities — tasking, collection processes, and protocols
  • Expert proficiency in RemoteView, SOCET GXP, or ArcGIS
  • Photogrammetric principles and techniques
  • Foundational Military Intelligence analysis and baseline reporting
  • Expert written reporting and multimedia briefing skills

Collaboration

  • Proven ability to work across the IC and DoD on technical and substantive topics
  • Ability to deconstruct complex problems and design analytic/collection approaches with GEOINT teammates

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Hands-on experience with Object-Based Production (OBP), Structured Observation Management (SOM), and Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI)
  • Experience building and applying analytic models to GEOINT problems
  • Working knowledge of Army, NSG, and IC GEOINT policies, standards, and tradecraft
  • Experience supporting senior IC/DoD customers with finished intelligence products
