Highway Staff Engineer

Dewberry is currently seeking a Staff Engineer in our Highway Engineering Department in our Mechanicsburg, PA offices. Responsibilities include design and preparation of contract documents for roadway improvement projects for various clients.

Responsibilities

• Design or roadways of various types
• Design of roadside appurtenances  (guide rail, drainage, stormwater management, etc.)
• Development of construction plans of various types

Required Skills & Required Experience

• BS in Civil Engineering required
• EIT/FE preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD
• Proficiency in MS Office software, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in team environment
