Transactional Legal Secretary

Overview

The Houston, TX office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking a Legal Secretary to support a partner whose practice is focused on business transactions, corporate matters, and high‑value commercial work. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Big Law or sophisticated transactional practices who thrive in a fast‑moving, detail‑intensive environment.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and document support for a high‑profile transactional practice, including corporate governance, entity work, business agreements, closings, and complex scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

Job Specifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least five (5) years of legal experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to maintain and handle confidential information
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
