Responsibilities
The Unit Secretary coordinates clerical activities with leadership, staff, co-workers, departments, physician practices and other healthcare providers. The Unit Secretary is the focal point of communication for the L&D and/or OB/GYN department and performs routine duties within the limits of documented training and this job description. All work is performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Qualifications
Education: -A high school diploma or GED
Experience: Previous receptionist / hospital unit secretarial experience required
Licenses/Certificates:Current BLS certification; CNA preferred
