About this role

Overview

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.

 

Flexible hours and call are required.  This position is responsible for patient observation and management in the immediate post-op period.  A working knowledge of anesthetic agents and surgical procedures is required.  Critical care skills are required specifically in the areas of airway, arrhythmia, and hemodynamic management.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure/Certification:

 

·          Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program with current Alabama licensure.

·          Must have 2 years Med/Surg or 1 year Critical Care experience.

·          Must maintain Current ACLS and PALS certification.

·          RNII / RN III:  Meets established requirements.
